Raised in Rochester, NY I attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC graduating in 1998 with a degree in history.  In 2001 I began my teaching career at Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, NH.  After deciding to get my Masters in 2003 as well as reconnecting with the person who would eventually become my wife I moved back to Rochester, NY.

Since 2006 I have been teaching social studies at Brighton High School in Rochester, NY.  The Brighton school community is a tremendous place to work.  I consider myself very lucky, fortunate and truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school district.

Aside from my teaching career I am quite active outdoors. I especially enjoy spending time with my wife Kelly of nearly five years and Ollie, our new golden retriever puppy.
